Veronica - White Icicle Speedwell



TheVeronica ‘White Icicle’, Veronica spicata. also known as Speedwell, is an easy to grow perennial that adds beauty to any garden. This Veronica produces wonderful white flowers that bloom from June till September. With its dark glossy green foliage, it has a plant height of 15” and a spread of 12-18”. ‘White Icicle’ needs a full sun area with well-drained soil. Deadhead the flowers after the first bloom to prolong its bloom time. Veronica can be used as a ground cover, in mass plantings or along borders. Hollyhock - Peaches 'n Dreams The Peaches ‘n Dreams Hollyhock, 'Alcea rosea', has double, creamy-peach flowers that are frosted with tints of raspberry-pink and apricot. It is a wonderful new array of pastels to add to the garden. The Hollyhock family is made up of a rather large group that exhibits tall stature (4-6') and is biennial in nature. Although they are short lived, they reseed themselves. The large blooms of Alcea ‘Peaches ‘n Dreams’ Hollyhock flower in the summer months. Alcea is a wonderful plant near the back of the border, working great along walls or fences. They are best planted in full sun in a well-drained area.
