Nothing beats the rich, sweet, flavor of winter squash. The Table King Acorn Squash is no exception with it's marvelous flavor. It is great for short seasons or late spring planting. The compact 4 foot vine is great for small gardens. Plant in the spring, 2 to 4 weeks after the last average frost date. Squash prefers well drained, rich soil with lots of organic matter.
