Sedum - Black Jack
The Sedum 'Black Jack', 'Sedum 'Black Jack' PPAF, is a recent discovery at Walters Garden in Michigan. The stems and foliage are darker than most sedum in its family. It has 2' tall clumps of purple stems with black to purple foliage. With a plant height and width of 24", its 8" pink flower heads bloom in September, making a wonderful contrast with its foliage. Diascia - Little Charmer Diascia 'Little Charmer', has exceptionally large strawberry-pink flowers They'll produce showers of flowers in spring to early summer until the daytime temperatures get really hot. Similar to 'Strawberry Sundae' but with rounder flowers, extra lush foliage, and even more heat tolerance. This Twinspur is very compact and a garden star. Plant in full sun in fertile well drained soil. Diascia is probably best suited to be grown in mixed containers or window boxes. Space plants 8" - 10" apart. Very compact and a garden star.
