Salvia - Sensation Rose
The Salvia Sensation Rose, Salvia nemorosa 'Sensation Rose' (PPAF), is loaded with pink flowers that bloom from May to August. It is a sister plant to the great salvia Marcus®. Sensation Rose is a new introduction in 2007 and has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12” and stays in excellent compact form. It should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area. Hosta - Liberty The Hosta Liberty, Hosta 'Liberty' (PP12,531), is a sport of the well known variety Sagae and is considered by many to be the finest hosta ever introduced. It is a medium sized hosta that has a dark green leaves with a wide golden yellow margin that changes to cream in the summer and stems producing lavender colored flowers. The lavender flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in late summer, however, hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Liberty is no exception. Liberty needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained spot. Liberty is one of the best variegated slug resistant hosta's. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants.
