Phlox - Junior Surprise
The Phlox Junior Surprise®, Phlox paniculata 'Junior Surprise®' (PPAF), has fragrant white flowers with red eyes on free-branching short stems. It is one the Phlox Junior series that contain mildew resistant plants. Blooming all summer long, it has a plant height of 18-22”. As a definite addition to any perennial garden, it attracts butterflies and provides a mainstay of summer color. Junior Surprise® needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Daylily - El Desperado The Daylily El Desperado, Hemerocallis 'El Desperado' (Stamile, '91), has large yellow flowers with a purple eye above a green throat with green foliage. El Desperado will bloom early in the season and then repeat bloom late in the season. It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants can not and prefers full sun for the best performance.
