The Periwinkle, 'Vinca minor', is a great ground cover for all locations, even the deepest shade! In early summer, numerous purple flowers add to the beauty of this plant. It covers large areas in no time! The leaves stay evergreen in milder climates. Flowers are purple, blue or white depending on the cultivar. Plants bloom in March or April and sometimes again in the fall.
