Mockorange - Blizzard
Blizzard Mockorange, Philadelphus lewisii 'Blizzard', is an outstanding shrub that is literally covered with blooms for up to 4 weeks in June. These profuse flower clusters are single, white, and extremely fragrant with deep green summer foliage. As the name implies, it's a blizzard of blossoms! It requires full sun, and has extreme winter hardiness. Will tolerate some light shade, but flowers best in full sun. Blizzard Mockorange: 4-5 feet in height with a 3' foot spread; upright habit; orange-brown bark exfoliates with age; coarse texture; prefers moist, well-drained soil; medium growth rate.
