The Lungwort Victorian Brooch, 'Pulmonaria', also known as Bethlehem Sage, is a great ground cover for any shady area, helping to lighten up parts of the garden. The silver-spotted foliage is compact, long and attractive. The magenta-coral flowers with ruby-red calyces adds to this plant, not to mention mildew resistant. The bloom time can be up to 3 months. ‘Victorian Brooch’ has a plant height of 21” and a spread of 18-23”. ‘Victorian Brooch’ needs to be planted in a full shaded area with well-drained soil. Coral Bells - Caramel The Coral Bells Caramel, Heuchera 'Caramel' (PP16,562), has unique caramel colored foilage on a vigorous growing plant. This variety of coral bell thrives on heat and humidity and is one of the most hardy of all the coral bells. Coral Bells are grown more for their foliage color but the small blooms that they contain will attract hummingbirds. The improvements on this coral bell must be seen to be appreciated. It features creamy colors and rosy brown sugar highlights. Like most Coral Bells, it thrives in partial sunlight but once established it will also grow in shade.
