Lungwort - Milky Way
The Lungwort Milky Way, 'Pulmonaria', also known as Bethlehem Sage, is a great ground cover for any shady area, helping to lighten up parts of the garden. The pink and white flowers bloom in April and fade to blue and make a great contrast to the foliage. The foliage is lance-shaped and heavily spotted with silver, not to mention mildew resistant. ‘Milky Way’ has a plant height of 21” and a spread of 18-23”. ‘Milky Way’ needs to be planted in a full shaded area with well-drained soil. Geranium - Pink With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 18-24” and a height of 15”. ‘Pink Geranium’ needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. ‘Pink Geranium’, being drought tolerant, needs a full sun area with some shade in the afternoon. For best results, plant in a dry to moist area in a well drained site. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is a somewhat attraction to bees and butterflies but it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener.
