The Lobelia 'Queen Victoria Cardinal Flower', Lobelia fulgens, has unique dark red, almost scarlet, spiked flowers with burgundy foliage. Blooming from summer into early fall, 'Queen Victoria' has a plant height of 3' and a spread of 12-18". 'Queen Victoria' needs to be planted in full sun, but can tolerate some afternoon shade. It does prefer moist soil but should be planted in a well-drained area. 'Queen Victoria' attracts hummingbirds and butterflies and looks great in mass plantings, in any perennial garden. Lungwort - Mrs. Moon The Pulmonaria ‘Mrs. Moon’, Pulmonaria saccharata, also known as Lungwort or Bethlehem Sage, is a great ground cover for any shady area, helping to lighten up parts of the garden. The foliage is fuzzy and dark green, speckled with silver and red to pink flowers that often turn into blue in May. ‘Mrs. Moon’ has a plant height of 10-12” and a spread of 18-23”. ‘Mrs. It is a wonderful contrast with hostas, under shrubs and along paths. ‘Mrs. Moon’ is a vigorous grower and resistant to slugs and great for a first time gardener.
