The Stachys ‘Lamb’s Ear’, Stachys byzantina, is known for its soft, fuzzy, silvery green foliage. With spikes of purplish pink small flowers, it has a wonderful effect on any garden. ‘Lamb’s Ear’ has a plant height of 8” and a spread of 12-24” and blooms in mid-summer. (Lamb’s Ear is not known for its flowering, but however its foliage. )It may not look extremely good in the summer time, but will recover in the fall. ‘Lamb’s Ear’ needs to be planted in full sun in a well-drained area. Veronica - Eveline The Veronica 'Eveline', 'Veronica longifolia 'Eveline' USPP 14888, is one of the newer Veronicas out today. This easy to grow perennial has purplish-pink flower spikes that bloom throughout June to September. 'Eveline' must have good drainage and requires low to moderate watering. Plant in full sun, in containers or in mass plantings. This Veronica is deer resistant and does attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
