Juniper - Blue Prince



Blue Prince Juniper, Juniperus horizontalis 'Blue Prince' (PP10,134), is a low growing evergreen that has beautiful powder-blue foliage and creates an outstanding contrast in the landscape. This ground hugging juniper with intense blue color, requires very little maintenance. Blue Prince Juniper is an excellent plant for cascading over retaining walls. It can play a feature role in your yard and garden. It grows 3 to 4 feet wide and 16 to 24 inches tall and winter tolerant with its glossy foilage. Junipers are important evergreens for landscape use due to their tolerance of unfavorable soil conditions, their hardiness and great variation in size, habit, color and growth rate. Junipers are used as ground covers, in foundation plantings, or as hedges, screens or windbreaks. Dogwood - Greytwig Terminal stems holding the flowers are distinctively red and provide interesting contrast to the clusters of small white berries which form after the flowers have dropped. Excellent when planted in groups and left alone to spread in naturalized areas or native plant gardens. Easily grown in average, medium wet, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.
