Jacobs Ladder - Brise dAnjou
The Polemonium ‘Brise d'Anjou Jacob's Ladder’, Polemonium caeruleum, has variegated, fern-like foliage and large, single, light violet-blue flowers. The light violet-blue flowers open to bright yellow, adding delightful charm to its foliage. ‘Brise d'Anjou Jacob's Ladder’ blooms from June to July with a plant height of 18-24” and a spread of 10-12”. ‘Brise d'Anjou Jacob's Ladder’ needs to be planted in a full shaded area but will tolerate some morning sun in a well-drained area. Scabiosa - Blanca The Scabiosa 'Blanca, Scabiosa Hybrid, is a small flowered form of the Pincushion Flower and it exhibits a a compact habit. 'Blancat' is a reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. With its gray-green foliage, it has a plant height of 8” and a spread of 12-18", not to mention being disease resistant. It is best to plant Scabiosa in full sun, with well-drained soil and should be watered regularly throughout the warmer months to increase its overall performance.
