Iris - Chrysographes

The Iris chrysographes, 'Iris', is a sumptuous iris with deliciously fragrant, dark violet blooms, often with yellow streaks on the falls. Its velvety petals on this striking black iris contrast beautifully with the sword like foliage. This is a truly black iris that is as velvety ebony as a moonless midnight in summer. It has rigid spreading standards with deep, pendulous falls. The Black Iris flowers in June on 24 inch stems. Mix them into border gardens where their fragrant blooms can be admired. Iris chrysographes grows well in moist, even in wet soils; making them especially good for problem areas. Flowers early summer and makes a stunning bouquet. ... additional information

Geranium - Southcombe Double The Geranium Southcombe Double, 'Geranium oxonianum', displays fully double, pure pink blooms that sit atop bright green stems. There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. For the most part, cranesbill are long-lived and do not require a lot of care.
