Iris - Butter and Sugar
The Iris ‘Butter and Sugar’, Iris siberica, has creamy white butter-yellow flowers with greenish yellow veins. Blooming from late spring into summer, it has a plant height of 28” and a spread of 18-24”. Iris ‘Butter and Sugar’ is one of the most easily grown Iris’. Iris ‘Butter and Sugar’ prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate some afternoon shade. This Iris needs plenty of water throughout the season to continue to looks its best. Lungwort - Mrs. Moon Moon’, Pulmonaria saccharata, also known as Lungwort or Bethlehem Sage, is a great ground cover for any shady area, helping to lighten up parts of the garden. The foliage is fuzzy and dark green, speckled with silver and red to pink flowers that often turn into blue in May. ‘Mrs. Moon’ has a plant height of 10-12” and a spread of 18-23”. ‘Mrs. Moon’ needs to be planted in a full shaded area with well-drained soil. It is a wonderful contrast with hostas, under shrubs and along paths. ‘Mrs. Moon’ is a vigorous grower and resistant to slugs and great for a first time gardener.
