Hosta - Elegans
The Hosta 'Elegans', Hosta sieboldiana, is an extra large Hosta with heart-shaped leaves. Being blue-green in color, it has a heavy, deeply tucked texture with powdery like cast which make it very striking. The white flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 30” and a spread of 48-60”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Daylily - Purple D' Oro The Daylily Purple D' Oro, Hemerocallis 'Purple D' Oro' (DeGroot, '00), has edge ruffled blooms that are lavender in color and with a yellow throat on semi-evergreen foliage. Purple De Oro is related to the very popular Stella D' Oro Daylily and will bloom from June through October. It is a reliable rebloomer.
