Geranium - Purple Pillow
The Geranium Purple PIllow, Geranium cinereum 'Purple Pillow', has dark purple flowers and a darker colored eye that blooms all summer long. This beautiful perennial is contrasted by wonderful blue-green foliage. Purple Pillow should be plant in full sun to partial shade. For best results, soil should be of average to moist and well-drained. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows. Dianthus - Rubys Tuesday The Dianthus 'Rubys Tuesday', Dianthus Hybrid, has flowers that are a deep red carnation with a sweet fragrance. Their very compact habit and free blooming nature make the 'Ruby Tuesday' Dianthus a stand out both in container gardens and perennial borders. Dianthus will bloom from mid summer to early fall. In order for a longer bloom time, deadhead the blooms continuously throughout the summer. Dianthus needs a sunny site with well-drained soil, but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon and humidity. They are especially stunning when paired with white or silver.
