Geranium - Platypetalum

The Hardy Geranium Platypetalum, 'Geranium x Platypetalum', has striking deep violet purple flowers. It is long blooming from May-August, and grows to 24" tall. It likes moist ordinary well drained soil, but will do pretty well with slightly drier conditions and poorer soil. It likes quite a bit of sun but will still bloom in partial shade. Not only do they produce lovely flowers in a wide variety of colors, but they also have varied growing habits to suit gardeners in almost any climate.
