Dianthus - Zing Rose
The Dianthus ‘Zing Rose’, Dianthus Deltoides, is a beautiful bright rose/mauve flower. With its grassy blue-gray foliage and profuse blooming time, ‘Zing Rose’ is one not to miss. Dianthus ‘Zing Rose’ has a plant spread of 12-18” and a height of 6”. Dianthus will bloom from mid summer to early fall. In order for a longer bloom time, deadhead the blooms continuously throughout the summer. Dianthus needs a sunny site with well-drained soil, but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon and humidity. These fragrant, spicy dove like flowers look wonderful as a border plant, rock gardens, along walks or paths, for edging and a definite in cottage gardens. ... additional information
Jacobs Ladder - Bressingham Purple The Polemonium ‘Bressingham Purple’ has dark purple, fern-like foliage and large, single, light violet-blue flowers. The light violet-blue flowers open to bright yellow, adding delightful charm to its foliage. ‘Bressingham Purple’ blooms from June to July with a plant height of 18-28” and a spread of 18”. ‘Bressingham Purple’ needs to be planted in a full shaded area but will tolerate some morning sun in well-drained soil. Try planting it with Polemonium ‘Brise d’Anjou Jacob’s Ladder’ or Hosta ‘Patriot’, in mass plantings, in rock gardens or in an elegant landscape. ‘Bressingham Purple’ is attractive to bees and butterflies and easy to maintain.
