The Daylily Storm of the Century, Hemerocallis 'Storm of the Century' (Carr, '00), has almost 6 inch ruffled blooms that are purple with a gold edge and a yellow and green throat on green foilage. Storm of the Centure will bloom mid-season and is a constant rebloomer. It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants can not and prefers full sun for the best performance. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. They will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions.
