Daisy - Toucan Tango
The Daisy Toucan Tango, 'Brachyscome hybrid', is a low growing daisy with fine foliage. These Proven Selections Aussie beauties are covered with daisy-like flowers even in the hottest summers. Toucan Tango are often used as ground covers, in beds or in bold color containers. The beautiful lavender flowers have a chartreuse eye. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. Lantana - Patriot Hot Country The Lantana Patriot Hot Country, 'Lantana "Patriot" Hot Country', is an annual shrub like plant that will produce beautiful bright hot fuchsia raspberry flowers. Lantana is an excellent choice for beds or containers. The Hot Country Lantana has attractive foliage and the foliage is topped with vividly colored flowers. The brightly colored flowers of Lantana are excellent for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Plant Lantanas in full sun and well drained soil in either beds or containers. Lantana prefers moist soil, but is drought tolerant. Pinch off spent flowers to promote new flower growth. Some contact with foliage may irritate sensitive skin. The Lantana is also commonly called a Shrub Verbena. All Lantana's are tough, resilient plants that thrive in hot weather and bloom profusely from spring until frost.
