Daisy - Lavender Lass



The Daisy Lavender Lass, 'Argyranthemum frutescens', is a fantastic release from Proven Selections. The Lavender Lass exhibits fast growth and is wonderfully floriferous grower for baskets, borders, and landscapes. Lavender Lass has a compact, mounding habit. The lavender colored blooms have a pretty yellow center. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. Zinnia - Dreamland Rose The Zinnia Dreamland Rose, 'Dwarf Zinnia elegans' has beautiful rose colored flowers that, unlike other Zinnia's, only grow to around a foot tall. Dreamland Zinnia's are unique in that they are shaped like a pompon dahlia. The compact size of these flowers make them perfect for containers, borders or they are great in flower beds. The Zinnia Dreamland Rose loves the heat and humidity that makes other flowers wilt. They grow fast, are early bloomers and will continue to bloom until frost.
