Dahlia - Collarette - Pooh
The Collarette Dahlia Pooh, 'Dahlia Pooh', appears simple and sweet at first glance. Upon closer inspection, this collarette type red and yellow dahlia reveals its complexity, just like the storybook bear. The central disk of the flower is surrounded by a collar of small ruffled petals in bright golden yellow. The larger petals are a clear orange-red with golden tips and form a delightful backdrop for this sunshiny little folwer. This plant is hardy in zones 8-10. Dig and store during winter in colder zones. ... details
Geranium - Southcombe Double There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. For the most part, cranesbill are long-lived and do not require a lot of care. They are perfect in the perennial border and work well as a ground cover too. This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant.
