Dahlia - Clair Obscur
The Dahlia Clair Obscur, 'Dahlia Clair Obscur', has velvety rich flowers that are a deep maroon color frosted with white tips. It is considered a cactus type flower because of its wide diameter and petals that stand out in three dimensions. One of the most breathtaking dahlias we offer for the cutting garden. 'Clair Obscur' is sturdy and upright with minimal staking, but will have longer stems and larger flowers if given support and deadheaded regularly. They are hardy zones 8-10, dig and store during winter in colder zones. ... find out more
Geranium - Southcombe Double There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. For the most part, cranesbill are long-lived and do not require a lot of care. They are perfect in the perennial border and work well as a ground cover too. This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant.
