Coral Bells - Peach Flambe
The Coral Bells Peach Flambe, Heuchera 'Peach Flambe' (PP17,195), produces perhaps the most striking color yet of all the Coral Bells. The ruffled leaves have a soft peach color in the spring and fall and are bright orange with a touch of red during the summer. Taller shoots of white colored flowers appear on this variety in late spring. Coral Bells are grown more for their foliage color but the small blooms that they contain will attract hummingbirds. Like most Coral Bells, it thrives in partial sunlight but once established it will also grow in shade. Iris - Batik The Iris Batik, Iris x germanica 'Batik' has stripes and splashes of white on dark purple flowers. With a velvety texture and beautiful sword-shaped foliage, it has a plant height of 24”. Batik blooms in spring and is an easily grown Iris. It prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate some afternoon shade. This Iris needs plenty of water throughout the season to continue to looks its best. Batik will make a great addition around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. It can also be used in difficult banks and preventing erosion. They also make magnificent cut flowers and are resistant to deer.
