The Heuchera 'Green Spice', Heuchera micrantha, also known as Coral Bells, Alum Root, Crimson Bells, is a vigorous growing variety has excellent leaf color contrast, large, dark gray-edged silver leaves with purple veining. The summer blooming flowers are cream colored and contrast nicely with the dark color of the foliage. The dark green edged silver leaves spread 16", with a 10" foliage height. Yarrow - Coronation Gold The Yarrow, ‘Coronation Gold’ , Achillea ageratifolia, is an upright golden-yellow flowered Yarrow that blooms from June through September, providing excellent color throughout the summer months. The flower heads are 3-4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 42”. This Yarrow does well in average garden soils, but prefers lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils. Remove faded flowers to encourage more growth and divide every 3-4 years. For an attraction to butterflies, deer and rabbit resistant, one can’t go wrong with this plant.
