The Eupatorium ‘Chocolate Mist Flower’, Eupatorium rugosum, also known as White Snakeroot, has a shiny, deep purple stem with chocolate leaves. ‘Chocolate Mist’ is a wonderful white bloomer that stands 4’ tall with a plant spread the 29-35”. ‘Chocolate Mist’ is a definite attractor to butterflies and bees and is deer resistant. Eupatorium ‘Chocolate Mist’ should be planted in full sun, but can tolerate some afternoon shade. Make sure it has a moist, well-drained area for optimal success. ‘Chocolate Mist’ looks wonderful with Rudbeckia ‘Black Eyed Susan’, Aster ‘Woods Purple’, with ornamental grasses or in a perennial border. Geranium - Ann Thompson The Geranium 'Ann Thompson', dislays gold tinted foliage which forms a low-spreading mound that gives rise to a profusion of 1" wide, dark magenta flowers. It has a plant width of 24-36” and a height of 6-8”. ‘Ann Thompson’ Geranium needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. ‘Ann Thompson’ Geranium, being drought tolerant, needs a full sun area with some shade in the afternoon. For best results, plant in a dry to moist area in a well-drained site. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows.
