Catmint - Sweet Dreams
The Catmint 'Sweet Dreams', 'Nepeta 'Sweet Dreams', is distinguished by its eye catching dark burgundy floral bracts and large deep green leaves. This Nepeta prefers moderate shade with moist soil, as it was found growing on shady, mountainous rocks in the cliffs of Japan. With a plant height of 18" and a width of 24-36", is has clear pink flowers that bloom from July to September. For best results, deadhead after each bloom time. Stokes Aster - Honeysong Purple The Aster Honeysong Purple, 'Stokesia laevis', has leathery, strap-like leaves that form a clump at the base with huge true royal purple daisy-like flowers with a hint of red at the end of the stem. The powdery blue flowers bloom from July until frost have a plant height of 14” and a plant spread of 18-24”. Great for summer color in beds, borders or containers it produces excellent cut flowers. To increase bloom time, deadhead after the first initial flowering.
