Aster - Woods Pink
The Aster ‘Woods Pink’, Aster x dumosus, has clear pink flowers with gold centers and daisy-like flowers blooming August through September. With its perfectly clean, compact, dark green, disease resistant and rust free foliage, this plant has a height of 12” and a plant spread of 24”. ‘Woods Pink’ has emerged in the past few years with superb flowers and longer bloom times. Aster ‘Woods Pink’ does require full sun, but can take some afternoon shade, in a moderate soil range with good drainage that does not become extremely dry during the summer. Dianthus - Miss Pinky The Dianthus 'Miss Pinky', Dianthus Hybrid, has huge, deep salmon pink blooms that would be a flower-arranger’s delight. Their very compact habit and free blooming nature make the 'Miss Pinky' Dianthus a stand out both in container gardens and perennial borders. Dianthus will bloom from mid summer to early fall. Dianthus needs a sunny site with well-drained soil, but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon and humidity.
